Took a detour from working on short stories in February to have a go at political satire. The results are at the Substack site, What. Is. Reality?
What. Is. Reality? offers political, social, and random takes on the dizzying array of dizzying current events. The challenge is trying to keep up with the plethora of eligible subjects.

Some bio boilerplate info:

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve spent adult life out West in California, Colorado, and Washington. Influences on my psyche include repeated viewings of Rocky and Bullwinkle, repeated listenings to Tom Lehrer and Firesign Theatre, and repeated readings of the collected works of James Thurber, J. G. Ballard, and Flann O’Brien (Brian O’Nolan).

In an age of specialists, I may be one of the last of the generalists.

I live in Seattle, Washington, with my wife, Lane. Our daughter, Lila, is in NYC pursuing theater and writing while serving as an urban park ranger.
